Due to unfortunate real life circumstances team Jonas Pro Cycling are forced close down its activities for good. This happens just one season before the opportunity to accomplish the teams biggest and longest standing goal: beating Sprint4lives 6 season winning streak, which makes this a very hard decision to make. We had multiple riders prepared for top form to beat the record.
Miron Tredyakovsky for Roubaix classic and TvA
Ayr McCann for Vuelta and following sprint races including Essex
Leonid Gribov for Copa Salsa de Cali and Helsinki GP
1.1 million $ to purchase a topform ready supersprinter for Germany
Alanzo Bonico and Ilmari Huhtamo for the late TT races
Gualtier Diamico as reserve captain in case of injury, Alan Rebosio as flat road and ordinary captain. We are certain that this setup would have given us at least 7k points.
We are sad not to be able to go for the record, but still proud to have accomplished matching the record. Ironically this happens after the best season in team history but it still fells good to stop with such good results.
It´s been an pleasure to be part of this community and compete against you!
Season 50:
Breaking the 7000 and 8000 point barrier with 23 total victories and 55 total results.
Winning Astana GP, Helsinki GP and Germany SC.
Four riders in top 20: Mats Bjelland (2), Alan Rebosio (4), Jugoslav Zupljanin (9) and Hélio Albuquerque (19).
With this goodbye we have the urge to freeze time - just for a second:

Wow, I was not even aware of this. A big bow to the one of the history-makers in the game. Completely fair, completely great management.
Whoa, this flew by me. Hopefully we will see you back one day. In the mean time, best of luck in RL!
Best luck IRL! You leave a great legacy behind in this game.
Sad to hear that, was great to compete with you!
Having 20 TF ready riders for S51, I had some hopes I will be able to come closer to you at least.
With an average age of 34, I was hoping to see how you were going to replace your ageing superstars. I guess we're not going to see that :(
Hey Jonas haven't had much opportunity to interact, but you always seemed like a great guy. Your legacy won't be forgotten or easily topped. Wish you the best on your RL issues!
Good luck!
You wrote history, you will not be easily forgotten.
Hope everything is ok! It has been a pleasure to discuss in PMs with you from time to time and your achievements in this game is as impressive as they come. Best of luck going forward Jonas!
Very sad news for OCM! Huge respect for your achievements Jonas! You've helped raising the bar so much that nowadays you really need to be A MANAGER to be successful in this game. Having 1 or 2 lucky amazing riders is no longer enough, you really need to plan every single detail of the season.
Hope for the best in your personal life!
Also congratulations to be the most successful team ever in OC
Never say never Jonas. Maybe one day you will be back. Things do change, sometimes for bad, but sometimes for good. You never know... Anyway, massive respect for your achievemets in OCM and good luck in real life.
Wow, this is unbelievably sad to hear. I wish you all the luck in the world with handling these real life circumstances, whatever they may be.
And just so that this thought won't cross the mind of some managers : Jonas is in no way connected to cheating and this is not a 'cover-up'.
His legacy should always remain regarded as one of the best and nicest managers in OCM-history.
I'll miss you
Well done Jonas! Your team will always be a key part of OCM history. Hope everything get sorted out for you in real life.
I was about to congratulate with your great season. And then I read this. Congratulations are still in order. Sad to see you go. Good luck with the things going on in your personal life.
